Easing of lockdown measures to be unveiled

The government is set to announce the phased lifting of lockdown measures.


While some doubts remain, the opening of preschools and crèches from next Tuesday appears a certainty. There is also a possibility there will be a regional differentiation of lockdown rules depending on infection rates.


Further easing of measures are to come into force after Easter, with some restrictions being reintroduced for the long holiday weekend to avoid a spike in cases.
